Discontinued: Kids Cajón

I originally built the Kids Cajón to give the youngest beginners their own “real” cajón. It was a scaled-down version of my DeUno design, with rounded corners, smooth surfaces for little hands, and a snare side that still produced a true cajón tone. At 14.5" tall, it offered children a way to experience the sound and feel of a handcrafted instrument made in my shop here in Georgia.

I’ve since chosen to discontinue this model so that I can focus entirely on building professional and artisan-level instruments. My work today is about creating fewer drums at the very highest standard, using tonewoods, precision joinery, and finishes that belong in the hands of serious players and collectors.

Warranty
If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return items in like new conditions within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. In Addition KOPF warrants all KOPF Percussion, KOPF Hardware from defects in material or workmanship. If the product shows any sign of material or workmanship defect, we will replace it at no charge for a period of three (3) years commencing on the date of original retail purchase through an Authorized KOPF Percussion Dealer. KOPF will not guarantee any product that has been lost or damaged by accident, neglect or misuse; including any product that has been altered or been repaired by a non-authorized dealer or individual. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Any replaced product will remain under warranty only during the remaining warranty period of the original product purchase.

    I purchased this for my son who is 8 years old. He loves playing along with his dad playing guitar. It sounds great. It is a real drum, not a toy.

    I was very surprised at the high quality of the drum. It is a kids size cajon but looks, feels, and sounds much different. Very glad I got this one. Not a toy drum....it is the real thing! :)

    This was a gift for my son's 7th birthday. I was so happy to find this. Very well built and sounds great to. "NOT A TOY" this is a reall musical instrument. Thanks guys

    Very well built kids drum

    I got this for my 6 year old son. I have a S-Series Kopf cajon and he wanted his own. I am supprised at how well built this cajon is for a kids cajon. It is built more like a pro cajon if you ask me. My little one will be enjoying this for a very long time. Thanks so much Kopf!

    A real cajon!

    Though this drum is meant for kids, it is not a toy. The best way that I can describe it...........is that it is a small yet professional cajon. It is built better than many adult sized instruments. My daughter loves it.

    I purchased this drum for my 5 year old daughter as a Christmas present. She is always beating on things when music is on, so I thought that a kids drum would be great. My neighbor plays drums and he said that it was just like a really good full size cajon. Really happy with it!
