Student Series Cajon Junior

A kids hand drum is a great way to introduce children to music.  the Cajon Junior, with it's compact size, is a great choice for this. However, don't be fooled by the size of this cajon. This is not a toy, it is a serious instrument that sounds amazing and can serve a smaller adult very well.  It has dual playable surfaces........one with  non-adjustable snares.........and one with no snares. Though the "Junior" stands only 15.5" tall, it is a full 12" deep and 11.5" wide. It has incredible bass tones for it's size and amazing resonance.

    Great Student Cajon

The Junior cajon is a great sounding cajon with more bass than was expected. Great smaller sized cajon.

    Not just for kids

Posted by Kyle Moore on 14th Apr 2015

I am a 30 year old drummer that just happens to have a very small frame. I got this drum for myself because all of the cajons that I played were simply too tall for me. This is the perfect fit. People should know that this cajon sounds better than most standard size cajons. You will be surprised by the sound ....I promise. The bass is really full. For a smaller cajon, it really can fill up the air. Any student would love this cajon as well as my fellow "smaller framed" adults :)

Pro cajon in a small package

Posted by Candy Moore on 20th Nov 2012

I purchased this cajon for my 10 year old for his birthday. The quality is as good if not better than the pro level cajons that I saw in my local store. I am simple amazed that that little box can sound as full as it does. Great bass as well as upper tones. My son loves it.

    Perfect for me

Posted by Sandra Miller on 13th Nov 2012

I had been looking to buy a cajon for a few weeks, but most of the cajons that I played were to big for me. I am a rather short adult. A fellow musician recommended the Kopf Junior. I purchased it and when it arrived I was blown away. The quality of the cajon and the sound is great. It is much better than what I was expecting. I guess because it is in their "Student Line" I was thinking that it would be a toy or something. It has incredible bass for a drum that size and the snare is cutting. If you are looking for a cajon that is a little smaller than normal, then this is the right one.
